Reporting to the Vice-President Corporate Development, and as a member of the senior management team, you lead our corporate governance, accounting, finance, facilities, information management and insurance portfolios. As an experienced and diversified business professional, you use your expertise to ensure S. O. Asher employs the best operational, financial and reporting systems and controls.

Results-oriented by nature, you maximize organizational effectiveness and sustainability, ensuring that your team delivers on both short-term and longer-term goals. Adept at developing effective relationships, you manage our major external vendor and supplier contracts ensuring mutually beneficial relationships.

To prepare you for this role, you have over seven years of senior management experience, a CPA designation and specific experience leading the identified portfolios.

Program Coordinator

As a Program Coordinator, you will work in different markets and provide tactical, hands-on support for our client’s lottery programs. Collaborative in approach, you enjoy working with others and responding quickly to address changes in the marketplace. You are comfortable with frequent travel to work with key suppliers and clients and deliver excellent service. You display professionalism and integrity in all your interactions.

You enjoy a fast-paced environment and handling diverse responsibilities such as developing detailed budgets and schedules, working with vendors and suppliers to develop prize packages, coordinating marketing and advertising materials, and executing promotional and media events. Your strong communication skills allow you to present information clearly and concisely in written reports.

If you have a degree/diploma in business or a related discipline, over three years of related experience, and intermediate to expert levels skills with MS Office, this may be the role for you.

Accounting Administrator

The Accounting Administrator handles all the bookkeeping and general accounting functions across programs. You are a whiz with Quickbooks and Excel. Detail-oriented and accurate, you review invoices to contracts and ensure all invoices are coded and entered in a timely manner. You enjoy investigating variances until you have the answers. Your organizational skills are top-notch, and your filing system has a place for everything. You are comfortable preparing reports for management review. If you have a diploma in accounting, intermediate skills with Excel, and love working with numbers, this may be what you are looking for.

With a flair for writing and a keen eye for detail, you can review creative content with ease and edit copy to meet program objectives. Your experience with digital marketing enables you to implement effective strategies to engage and grow our audience.
